Before joining the ISC, he worked as a consultant in the public and academic sectors, collaborating extensively with policymakers, research funders, and academic institutions around the world. His work has focused on evaluating science and innovation programmes, assessing research impact, and mapping collaboration in science. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Felix holds an MSc in Public Policy &amp; Human Development from <a href=\"https:\/\/unu.edu\/merit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UNU-MERIT<\/a>, an MSc in Strategic Innovation Management from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Sussex<\/a>, and a BA in Liberal Arts &amp; Sciences from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maastrichtuniversity.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Maastricht University<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"mailto:Felix.dijkstal@council.science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Felix.dijkstal@council.science<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This page was updated in May 2025.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Felix joined the ISC in 2025 as a Science Officer, bringing with him experience in research assessment, programme evaluation, and scientometrics.
