I am a tenured full professor and research group leader in Sedimentary Geology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Lima, Peru. I work in a broad range of topics such as Quaternary geology, climate change, geoarchaeology and neotectonics. I have led and participated in 22 funded international research projects, have (co)authored 32 publications in Q1 scientfic journals and have participated as an invited speaker in over 30 international congresses. I have excellent coommunication skills in Dutch, English and Spanish and am used to working in international teams. Through the ISC I hope to advance Science in Latin America and the Carribean.
