This pilot initiative represents an important milestone in strengthening the capacities of the Latin American and Caribbean scientific community to engage in parliamentary science advice. By learning from parliamentarians’ experience and perspectives, scientists can better understand the complexity of legislative work and contribute more effectively to evidence-informed decision-making in the region.
The ISC RFP-LAC and ParlAmericas are grateful to all ISC Experts for their commitment to this pioneering initiative. Together, we are laying the groundwork for stronger collaboration between science and parliaments in pursuit of knowledge-based solutions for society and the planet.
