Megha Sud

Megha joined ISC in 2019. She is responsible for the Council’s work on climate change policy, human development, science funding and enhancing the role of social sciences in sustainable development policies. She works closely with ISC members, the multilateral system and policy makers in these areas to enhance international science collaboration, coordinate inputs from the international scientific community and support stronger science-policy connections. She has previously worked as a policy advisor and programme officer at the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the International Energy Agency (IEA) and The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Her interdisciplinary research background lies in climate change policy and the interface between development and environmental change. 

She holds a PhD in geography from the University of Cologne, a Master’s degree in development studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and a Bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Delhi.
