Completed earlier this year, the ISC project ‘Science organizations in the digital age’ supported eleven ISC Members in harnessing digital technologies and new ways of working to advance their missions.

The project produced a range of practical tools, with a particular focus on organizations with a footprint in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), but which are relevant to all science organizations.

Whether you’re looking to engage new audiences, improve internal systems or simply find out where to start, you’ll leave with ready-to-use resources relevant to you and your organization.

Date: 25 September, Thursday
Time: 12:00 – 13:00 UTC

Why digital matters for science organizations

Developments in technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), offer new possibilities for science organizations to do their work and expand their impact.

For example, digitizing archives can increase access to knowledge, digital platforms can widen participation for researchers in remote areas, and digital tools can significantly improve the efficiency of workflows.

The tools and resources to be presented at this launch event will help address some of the most common barriers towards digital maturity and equip participants with knowledge and skills to tackle them.
