The International Union of Forest Research Organizations is pleased to announce a scientific seminar titled “Strengthening Forest-Health-Nexus-Examples from Europe” which will be held online on 08 October 2025 from 7:00 to 8:30 am UTC.
Engagement with nature-based activities not only promotes health and physical activity but also improves well-being, reduces social inequalities, fosters positive relationships between people, and increases individuals’ sense of responsibility for the environment they live.
This webinar provides insights into the Natural E4HIA Framework and demonstrates its potential to guide thinking around how nature can impact human health. We will also explore what kind of forest environments best support human psychological restoration and how forests and healthcare can work together to support clients’ health.
